Desktop App w-Sync

Any plans for a SplashID Desktop App that will Sync with the PRE SplashID... Please say it's so... This is the only thing holding me back... from turning in the Treo and gtting the Pre.

Yes, we plan to include desktop sync in the future.
Right now, you can Import your SplashID data into the Pre.

I just downloaded SplashID for the Pre. Can I download one of the desktops, input my data, and then import it later into the Pre? If so, which desktop should I choose?

Download standalone desktop v4 available here-

Then enter your data, and perform Export from Desktop, Import into Pre.

Also a caveat - there's a bug with the import function that prevents .vid files with more than 100 records from being imported! (You have to get around this by breaking up your exports into several sets and importing them separately.)

For now I'm making backups by copying the sqlite3 database file from /var/palm/data/*splash* to my usb card, but that's hackish to say the least. (And I didn't even know *that* was possible until after my Pre bit the dust... day late, dollar short.)

We have the Import issue fixed for a month now. We have been asked by Palm to standby while the Catalog is transitioning from Free only to Free and Paid apps.

How do you copy the sqlite3 database file from /var/palm/data/*splash* to Mass Storage area?
