Agendus for Android or WebOS
Any word of when Agendus will be available for Android or WebOS?

No news on Android at this point, but it is still on our radar. Once we have some news, we will announce it via the forums, facebook and twitter pages. In terms of WebOS, there are no plans to move forward with this platform at this time since Palm has abandoned their work with it.
I understand that Web OS is going open source. And has been released to a committee. I have been using the Web OS operating system. I sure like the multi card, multi app open at the same time feature. I have had my Palm Pre for 2 years and just picked up one of the tablets.
I am looking for a better and more reliable App for the WebOS.
I am still fully dependent on the IAMBIC ActNames. Yep, has been a trusted and fully dependable solution for 11 years. It has moved with me from instrument to instrument. (Palm V, to a 2005 Samsung Sprint phone whit Palm OS). And Operating system, Win95, WinXP, Vista 32bit.
When I moved to the PalmPre in 2010 I used Companion Link to synk my data to the Palm Desk Top V 4.5
can use the MotionApp classic.
Well I feel like an dolt. After several days of looking I did find the Motion App. and have down loaded it. on to the Pre, now I can see that I can run IAMBIC Agendus on the Pre. My next step is to synk data to it.
So after a year of running the companion link I could have been using the legacy Palm desktop. Duh..
Next is to set the WebOS webbook.
OK, it's almost August 2012. Arjun told me Agendus for Android was on the horizon well over a year ago. I'm assuming he's gone. WHERE IS THE ANDROID VERSION? You *do* realize that there are more Android phones than iphones being sold, aren't you? Or are you still working on a Palm OS update?

Arjun is still around. We are currently still working on the iPhone version. Once we have that where we want it, we can move on. I am being honest with you in that it most likely will not be soon. At this point we have no projected date. Once we do, then we will be sure to announce it. You can assume if we aren't announcing anything that we are still working on other platforms that where in existence first. We are not working on a web os version since palm is now obsolete.
For the record, we all love our android phones here. You can imagine how anxious we all are to have Agendus on Android. However, we have a commitment to our current users on iPhone and Windows who are in need of updates. We are doing all that we can with the resources we have.
Thank you so much Nancy for the clear info on the direction you guys are heading and giving us some ideas on your operational plans. I guess like many others, I've been using Agendus since the good old days of Palm OS (I switched to the Windows Mobile version later, also during the good old days). Now that I'm on Android, of course, I'm out looking for good syncing options for Outlook that's available. I understand the constraints of probable limited resources on your side. It's all understandable.
May I give a small suggestion? At the moment, the Android market is really lacking on a good PIM that syncs with Outlook seamlessly. Trust me - I've looked at/tried almost every single one out there. The only one that does it best so far is VCOrganizer (Vecal), which I paid an arm and a leg for. Pocket Informant is moving ahead with theirs but outlook syncing will be linked to their online version. At this stage, it's almost "who secures the market first wins" situation. The main problem with VCOrganizer is the cost - which is putting many people off (but desperate people like me will still pay for it). They are not sitting on their laurels either - they have a huge head-start (currently in version 6 and already developing their Enterprise version) and definitely will continue to improve on it. Once Pocket Informant get's their version 3 for Android ready (and if they figure out improving on the syncing with Outlook esp the categories sync), they will inevitably secure a large market permanently. And realistically, once one get used to a PIM app, one doesn't switch to another easily. My suggestion is to invest and increase your resources into developing it quickly. Once you lose the window period, it may no longer be feasible to invest into developing it.
My 2 cents. And as I've been using Agendus since eons past (Palm OS version, Windows Mobile version, and desktop Windows Outlook version), I've always hoped the best for Iambic to be able to do well in the PIM market.

Further notices on android for Agendus
Since September I see no further notices on the subject. As most avid Iambic users I am urgently need to switch to a smartphone..either an iPhone or a Android based unit. Please let us know.
No news on Android progress at this point. We are working within the resources we have. At this point, we have not been able to make this a reality. It is something we still want to do and hope to accomplish this year.
Nancy, thank you very much for your reply.
